And that means serving quality people quality ingredients.
Both our specialty coffee line and our coffee served in house are organic, bird-friendly, rainforest certified, and roasted in small batches locally in Brewer, Maine.
All of our deli meats and cheeses are provided by Boar’s Head and we are proud to partner with local Folklore Farm for seasonal greens.
Since our opening in October 2021,
we have taken immense pride in serving delicious and quality coffee,
pastries, and hand-crafted sandwiches to our community.
Built in 1880 by the prominent Nash family,
our building is located in the heart of Cherryfield’s historic downtown
and has had a rich and storied history which we are honored to continue.
Over time, the Nash building has served a multitude of purposes
including an apothecary, an office building, and later an antique store.
Cherryfield was named after the wild cherries that once grew abundantly along
the banks of the Narraguagus River, which is a Passamaquoddy word meaning “wide and shallow.”
Since its settlement, Cherryfield’s prime position along the Narraguagus
made it a hub for the fishing and lumber industries.
Our building still bears the mark of this important trade, with the steel splice bands
used to lengthen ship masts still visible on the rear side of the building.
